rank & Test guidelines
The following guidelines represent a general outline of the expected technical knowledge required to attain each rank. This, of course, is not an exhaustive nor permanently fixed list; every student is unique and may be asked to demonstrate some things not found on the guidelines.
test eligibility
In order to be eligible to test for rank promotion, the following conditions must be met:
Knowledge of the requirements and an ability to show them clearly and without excessive hesitation
Sufficient condition/stamina to ensure fatigue does not overly influence the demonstration of technique
The minimum number of training hours, meeting both the cumulative and consistency requirements
Current on membership dues
5th kyu
Hour Requirement: 40-50 hours with 25 hours being achieved through minimum 2x/week in consecutive weeks

Hour Requirement: 60-80 hours since 5th kyu with 30 hours being minimum 2x/week in consecutive weeks
