By order of the state of Illinois during the pandemic, classes at the dojo are suspended through Thursday, April 30th, 2020. This may be extended/reduced based on situational developments; any information will be posted here.
Please join us on Saturday, February 29th for a potluck meal to conclude our winter intensive week!

Join us for zazenkai, an opportunity for more concentrated meditation practice. We will begin on Saturday evening and conclude on Sunday morning. Overnight stay at the dojo is permitted and a formal breakfast will take place on Sunday.

On Saturday, December 7th, we will be conducting promotion testing at 11am.

On November 12th, Miller Roshi from Daiyuzenji will join us for our regular Tuesday night zazen.
On Sunday, October 6th we will have a morning practice centered around zazen. The morning will include chanting, seated and walking meditation, and a formal temple lunch.
In order to include all participants in the lunch, please RSVP by Friday, October 4th.
In observance of Labor Day, the dojo will be closed on Monday, September 2nd.
Starting on Saturday, August 10th, a restorative yoga class will be added to our schedule on Saturdays at 12:45pm.
So’zan Miller Roshi of Daiyuzenji temple will join our zazen on Tuesday, August 6th at 8pm.
No class on Friday morning, 7/26 (7-8:15am) and Monday, 7/29 (Noon).
All other classes will be held as usual.
There will be class on July 4th from 12-1pm.
No morning classes on Friday, July 5th
On Saturday, June 15th we will have rank promotion tests during the 11am class.
